Many people have asked me several times throughout the years what camera I have and what equipment do I use for my pictures on my account. I have always changed cameras from a Canon 70D, GoPro, Sony 6500 and my smartphone, the Google Pixel 3.
Ideally, in order to have good quality images I believe there has to be three things to take into account:
1. Practicality: As little equipment as possible (especially when traveling), not expensive looking cameras (they can become too flashy and can inflict attention, not the good kind), light (you are traveling, you don't want to be hard on your back)
2. Price: I mean, I rather spend my money on airfare and/or food
3. Picture Perfect: Good quality image
I've experienced with all ranges of cameras and will continue to do so, but as of now I highly recommend one camera that fits these three points I have stated. It has made me a very happy customer for the past two years. The camera I use is that of my smartphone and attach a wide 18mm lens to it from Moment.
Moment has a wide variety of products whose target customer are those who travel and more importantly, like to travel light. The lenses are attached on a phone case, the cases can fit all types of smartphones (iPhone, Samsung, OnePlus, Google Pixel). The phone cases are very durable and perfect for travel, they range from prices of $30-$50.
As for the lenses, they also have different types depending on the style of photograph you want to capture (action, macro, wide angle, tele, anaphoric, etc). For my taste I enjoy taking photographs using a wide angle lens since I want to capture as much of my surroundings as possible. The price for the lenses also vary from $100-$200.
There is nothing better than already having your pictures right on your phone and only using one device. It's so practical to have the small lens with you at all times that can easily be clipped on and off.
Moment also has other products like filters for your camera lens, bags, tripods, gimbals and other accessories for your smartphone. Check them out here
