We are back with five more taquerías I have explored in the past month. Páramo, the first one, can be found in Roma Norte and the others around Polanco (El Autentico Pato Manila just opened their third location in Polanco). So if you have short-time in the city you can definitely taco-hop. The ratings again are rated from 1-10.
First episode of Más Tacos, here.
1. Páramo 9.0⭐️
Located in Roma Norte you can find this trendy restaurant called Páramo. The restaurant used to be an apartment building which you can understand by the way the tables are laid out in small dim separate rooms connected by a long hallway and one main common area. The ambience itself is really nice with cute little details and decor all around which makes your eyes easily wonder around the space. It's really trendy and has been for a while now, so if you are planning to come here make sure you make a reservation first. The menu is very large with traditional Mexican dishes displayed in an authentic manner. I came here for the tacos so let's dig right in. We ordered to types of taco dishes which were tacos 'La Muñeca' which is pork, 'carnitas' (chamorro de puerco) . We also ordered another dish called 'Papalonga' which was basically pork sausage drenched in a tomato-spicy-sauce with baked potato sliced in cubes. These dishes are brought in small-pot-like dishes where the tortillas are placed in the bottom, to keep them warm, and the meat placed with the sides that you can choose to prepare your tacos 'al gusto'. I give this place a good thumbs up to meet up with friends, enjoy some good tacos, music, and drinks.

2. El Auténtico Pato Manila 8.5⭐️
The name gives it a bit away, but what makes these tacos so special is that they are inspired by a Chinese dish, Peking Duck. It basically comes with the same ingredients but placing it right in La Condesa, Roma, or Polanco, and displaying the place as a small taqueria with limited space, and a long line, is what makes the tacos the best of both worlds. So as the peking duck, the tortilla is made from flour and not corn, the duck is soft and tender, and is served with their special sauce and toppings. The place is very much worth going as you won't find a place like this anywhere else. I recommend coming during the day to sit and have two tacos with a coke before or after a stroll around the city.

3. La Casa del Pastor 7.5⭐️
This place is a go-to if you are simply in the mood for a wide-range of traditional tacos. The name gives it a reputation of being tacos al pastor but it also has all types of tacos. What I could say that makes this place different than a typical taqueria is that it has a breakfast menu that serves breakfast-y dishes like omelettes with the meat from the tacos. So if you don't know if to go for brunch or tacos come here. Its menu comes with a wide range of Mexican entrees, soups, tacos, light tacos, seafood, meat, quesadillas, and much more.

4. El Turix 6.0⭐️
El Turix serves traditional Yucatecan-style tacos known as, 'cochinita pibil'. These tacos are made of shredded pork that is drowned in a deep achiote-and-sour-orange adobo. The taqueria is very small and if you are lucky you just might get a place to sit while enjoying the tacos, if not standing while eating tastes just as good. The sauce here is very spicy so be careful and I would also recommend to get the onions on the side as they can dominate the flavor of the taco easily, since the vinegar which it is prepared with can be a bit strong for my taste. This place is great if you haven't tried cochinita pibil. It is also great if you are aiming to have a good, quick, and cheap bite.

5. Takos Takos 6.0⭐️
I loved the location of this place since it's really close to Parque Lincoln in Polanco. It is a traditional Mexican restaurant with entrees like guacamole and cebollitas. Sopa de tortilla, chicharrón de queso, tacos of all types. I tried for the first time a 'memela de nopal con costilla', which is basically a piece of nopal, a layer of beans, cheese, and right on top the meat of your choice. You won't be disappointed with the tacos and other typical Mexican dishes, which to my experience, tried for the first time.
